I've been training Aikido now for 5mths and i now feel ready to do my first grading. So I thought as part of the learning expanding experience that Aikido is I'd start this Journal, to reflect and question myself.
Last nights session was great I was at the Dojo early (As I have to leave at 7) So for the first hour it was just me and Sensei Paul, going through all the basic techniques and I'm now aware that they are all there in my mind and all I have to focus on now is getting my body to remember them, focusing thought into Instinct. When I'm calm and at easy the movements flow. All I need now is to remember that in the grading !
Movement is the important thing, if the techinques isn't just there ready then just flow, move and it will come.
