Evening Class:
Worked again on Nikkyo, first on the form that we were using, and then we went to a shorter form that had more flow, but still retained the basic elements of the long form. It was really great, and I could see that my Nikkyo has changed some in the week that we have been working on it. Then Sensei taught us some of the really short for Mikkyo, that involved Uke grabbing you and you instantly Applying Nikkyo, largely by holding the fingers of the hand they have grabbed you with on their wrist, and then doing a nikkyo on their wrist with either your hand or your wrist. This was pretty cool stuff.
Worked a lot with M, and some with Noel, and Kokyu Dosa with Peter, who pointed out that I am now his sempie, instead of the other way around. That felt weird!
We stood around talking Noel Sensei, I am Melissa for over an hour at the end of class.
